Diese werden nicht in polierter Version eingesetzt, sondern gealtert
und gefärbt, durch verschiedene Patinierlösungen, deren Wirkung
nicht exakt vorhersehbar ist. Das Alter des Materials, Temperatur
und Luftfeuchte, die Stärke der Lösungen und nicht zuletzt der Zufall
behalten Einfluss auf das Ergebnis, wodurch jede Figur ihre eigenen
Überraschungen bereithält. In einer high-glossy Gesellschaft,
AAA ratings und A-class Surfaces in Design und Architektur,
als auch dem Schönheitsideal ewiger Jugend, durch faltenglättende
Kosmetik, steht das "b" für eine, der Hochglanzästhetik abgewandten
Interpretation von Einzigartigkeit und Anmut und bildet somit einen
gestalterischen Gegenpol zur Tätigkeit als Industrial Designer.

This is not used in a polished version, but aged and colored
by different patination solutions whose effect is not exactly predictable.
The age of the material, temperature and humidity, the strength of the solutions
have influence on the result, whereby each patination progress holds its own surprise.
In a high-glossy society, AAA ratings and A-class surfaces in design and architecture,
as well as the beauty ideal of eternal youth, through wrinkle-smoothing cosmetics,
the "b" also stands for a conception of uniqueness and grace that avoids
the high-gloss aesthetics and thus forms a counterpoint to the work of an industrial designer.
